Meet Roy Burns MA, LPCC
Back in 2019, I made the decision to uproot my life in South Florida and relocate to the Denver area to pursue my master’s degree. The decision to pursue a graduate education in the field of Psychology aligns with my passion and interest in human design, human behavior, and human evolution.
My therapeutical style is somatic and strength-based based. Experiential and Internal Family Systems are two therapeutic lenses I use when assessing, supporting, and aligning with my client’s personal goals for therapy.
I spent 10 years in the United States Military and participated in Operations Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Those experiences are foundational in my ability to serve my country and community, but also deeply support my clients.
I provide parallel services under my sister company, Menelik Lantern Company which focuses primarily on ceremony, ritual, and Initiation into higher consciousness. I have spent nearly 20 years actively exploring my humanity, and personal life challenges and honing my purpose.
I am deeply vested in supporting those who are interested in exploring themselves in an environment where they are witnessed, uplifted, challenged, and potentially transformed.
